CAIN-42 CAIN StudioResets
- A reset is a compact JWS signed by CAIN, typed
governor-reset, naming the namespace, the agent and the trip id. - It works once: after it is used the agent's trip id is cleared, so a replay finds no matching trip.
- A reset for another agent, another trip, a forged one (
alg: none), or any other CAIN-signed token is refused. - Re-defining the budget tree does not reset anything (fixed 2026-11-02: a config reload used to un-trip the breaker).
In the public demo the reset button plays the person; in a deployment the reset is issued only from the operator console or API.
