Can we edit a recording and re-seal it?

Only with the signing key. The offline verifier checks the seal against a key you fetch and pin yourself, never the key inside the file.

Is the erased text really gone?

From the recorder's database and its log files, yes, since today (and the response tells you if the log flush had to wait). Copies you exported are yours to delete.

Does it need our agent framework?

No: anything that can send JSON over HTTP can record steps. Spans follow the OpenTelemetry gen_ai conventions.
